The Lodge at Laurel Run
The Lodge: The 6,900-square-foot, 7-bedroom, 5-bath country house represents the highest level of luxury and comfort available in the Hocking Hills lodging market.
Our Hocking Hills Lodge is a custom built timber frame home that defines rustic elegance. The design comes from the classic T’ed two barn concept. Originally sketched out on a napkin, a talented local architect was able to transform the idea of the residence to reality. It took over two years to develop and build. The main construct is anchored around a mortise and tenon Douglas Fir timber frame. A massive 33 foot tall stone fireplace sets the tone in the great room. Once inside, the feel is like you slid into a residence retrofitted into a barn. Everything from the true professional kitchen to the private home theater will suit your every need. Slip into our robes and venture outside to enjoy the spacious outdoor living area that has a pool, hot tub, grill area, and soothing water feature. Bose speaker technology is used throughout the property
The Sanctuary is a 30×40 sq.ft. timber frame structure nestled in the estate’s matured pine grove. Its primary use is a non-denominational space to hold wedding ceremonies. 50 guests can sit under roof. It is adjacent to a natural amphitheater for additional seating. Overhead extension tenting is suggested for additional coverage that is not covered in the cost of the rental. There is no self-contained sound system. An onsite PA system is optional for an additional cost. There are oversized fans and pendant lights on dimmers.
The Pavilion is a 40×60 sq. timber frame structure ideal for events and gatherings up to 50 people. Ideal for small weddings, rehearsal dinner and after wedding brunch.
The Reserve: The entire estate Laurel Run Farm calls home is a dazzling, scenic venue in its own right. With 20 meticulously cultivated and groomed acres and another 120 natural, rustic acres strewn with hiking trails and paths, it is a testament to conscientious environmental engineering and a striking symbiosis between humanity and nature.
