All major holidays require a 3 night minimum at in-season weekend rates. We cannot accommodate check in or check out on any major holiday.
If your reservation request creates a 1 night opening between reservations we may require an additional night or change of dates.

Important Notes

  • The booking age for Laurel Run lodge is 30 unless approved by management.
  • Valid ID may be required upon check-in.
  • We do not rent our facilities for after-prom, high school graduation parties, college formal parties, bachelor/bachelorette, fraternity or sorority parties.
  • All events are subject to approval by owners/management prior to confirmation of a reservation.
  • A violation of these terms without management approval may result in the termination of the lease and loss of deposit.
  • Reservations that create one night openings during our in-season, will not be accepted unless approved by management.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is The Lodge at Laurel Run like in the winter?
Beautiful! The Lodge is open year-round. Winter is a beautiful season at the Lodge. Our driveway is steep, and we do our best to keep snow and ice removed, however, 4-wheel drive is necessary to climb the driveway when snow and ice covered. No refunds due to inclement weather or power outages, however, Our Lodge has a generator that will keep most everything going including the HVAC systems, tvs, lights and fridges.
What is the wildlife like at the lodge?
We do have our lodge professionally exterminated, but it is not bug proof. Please remember you are in the forest, and that we have invaded their habitat, so chances are you will see insects and spiders in the woods or outside areas. You most likely will encounter various woodland creatures such as deer, wild turkey, raccoons, squirrels, and you may even see a coyote(rare). Please do not feed or approach wildlife. Do not leave food out at night; you may have uninvited animal guests at the lodge.
Is there cell phone/internet service at the lodge?
Cell service is spotty at best due to the hills and forest. However, the lodge is equipped with a landline telephone service for your use. Prior to your arrival we will provide you with the Lodge number, feel free to give this to guests arriving later and or family at home that may need you. Long distance calls are free. High speed internet is available and sometimes subject to Mother Nature’s cooperation.
Is there housekeeping at the lodge?
Yes, maintenance comes by every other day to maintain pool and hot tub chemistry. The lodge will be immaculately cleaned especially for you prior to your arrival. We will do everything we can to make sure the lodge is ready for your stay. Our goal is to provide you with the best customer service in the Hocking Hills so that you will become a frequent guest to our lodges. However, on rare occasions you may find something that is unacceptable. Please let us know as soon as possible, we will make every effort to amend the problem so that your stay may be a pleasant one.
How many people can stay at the lodge?
The Lodge at Laurel Run can accommodate 23 guests comfortably (this includes children). Un-registered guests are NOT allowed, nor will they be permitted access to the property. Only registered and paid guests are permitted to stay at the Lodge. Traffic flow is monitored, and only registered guests will be given access beyond our gates.
When can I arrive for check in?
Check in time is 4:00 p.m. or after. . Late check outs and early check ins are available upon request if availability permits. Extensions must be approved before check in. Check out time is no later than 11:00 a.m. Please leave the lodge in the condition in which you found it with dishes washed and trash in proper receptacles. Management and housekeeping staff will arrive at 11:00 AM to begin the cleaning and inventory process.
Can we temporarily invite additional guests?
NO, you cannot exceed the 23 person maximum occupancy, This is due to our insurance policies, fire codes, and health department regulations. We do monitor traffic flow in and out of the lodge. The property is gated and we only allow access to registered guests.
Are pets allowed?
YES! You must have management approval, or you are subject to a penalty. A $50 pet fee for each pet for each day is required.
Do You allow hunting or ATVs on the property?
No, we do not. Firearms are not permitted at Laurel Run Farm
Is the Hot Tub/Swimming Pool opened year round?
Yes, our hot tub is open and heated year round at no additional cost. The swimming pool is seasonal and we are at Mother Nature’s discretion as to when the pool opens and closes for the season. Typically it is open May through the end of October. Pool heating is an additional cost.
Are reservation requests subject to approval?

How far away from the State Parks and Hocking Hills attractions?
The Lodge at Laurel Run is approximately 10-20 minutes away from everything you may want to explore in the Hocking Hills including all state parks and area activities.
Is The Lodge at Laurel Run secluded?
Yes, the lodge is nestled amongst 140 private wooded acres accessed through our private gates; it is.situated over a mile off the main roads so you can rest assured there will be no impeding traffic noises or other neighbors stacked on top of you.
Policies

Rates are subject to change. We cannot accommodate reservations that create a one-night gap in our availability. Our reservation system may not quote a discounted price correctly nor will it automatically charge your card. We always confirm a booking with our guests before processing your payment or accepting a reservation. We will honor all discounts and apply them before charging your credit card.

Deposit

In addition to the rental fees, a $1000.00 security deposit is required for all reservations. Note: We require the security deposit 30 days prior to your check in date but we will not deposit the check until 7 days before your arrival in order to verify funds. Deposits are usually received back within 5-7 business days after your departure. The security deposit will be conditionally but HAPPILY REFUNDED.

Payments

Advance payment of at least 50% of your stay is required at the time of reservation and the remaining balance due 30 days prior to check in. Any balance including the security deposit is due no less than 30 days prior to your stay. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. Personal check or bank check are the only form of payment accepted for the security deposit. Extra charges apply for heating of the swimming pool. Quoted prices are subject to change due to changing gas prices – call, closer to your stay, for details.

Cancellations

Reservations that are cancelled less than 60 days after you book a reservation, will receive a refund of your prepaid rental fee and security deposit (if already paid), less a cancellation fee of $300. Cancellations outside of 60 days (from the time you booked) but more than 60 days prior to your stay will receive a 50% refund of your prepaid rental fee and security deposit (if already paid). Our policy does not allow refunds for cancelations less than 60 days prior to your stay, however, we will consider these rare events on a case by case basis to determine if there is anything we can do to mitigate a loss for both parties. In the event of an early departure, we cannot give any kind of refund. There are no cancellations due to inclement weather. We do have a large whole house generator that automatically kicks on. Changes to the arrival or departure date are subject to our cancellation policy and/or a $125 change fee. Lessor may cancel this reservation at any time by returning your prepaid amount. Refunds for communicable diseases or viruses are only offered if there is a full travel ban. We encourage to to purchase trip insurance through our third-party vendor - please call our office for more information.

Check-in / Check-out

Check-In is between 4:00pm – 6:00pm. You will be greeted by a team member of our team along with a tour of the lodge and how it’s amenities work and rules of occupancy. Check-Out is by 11:00am.

Damages

We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning from your stay including any refunds issued to incoming guests because of damages as a result of your tenancy. If you notice any problems upon checking in, please let us know right away to avoid any damages being charged to your account although an extensive inventory and cleaning is done before every new guest’s arrival. The lessee is responsible for the actions of everyone in your group and should be a good steward of all policies and rules set forth by Laurel Run Farm and Hocking Hills Management Company.
